I've spent most of my career at the intersection of accounting, investigation, and systems. Before becoming a CPA, I spent a decade in supply chain and operations, so I have experience in analyzing businesses from both sides of the numbers. Now, I handle everything from financial reporting and forecasting to redesigning workflows, investigating discrepancies, and solving problems that don't necessarily fit into an accounting "box."I turn tedious processes into automations that save time and money, and complicated problems into step-by-step action plans. I believe optimization doesn't need to be over-complicated.My goal is to leave businesses better than I found them.

Problems I've Solved

No two businesses come to me with the same problem. Here are a few I’ve helped solve.

Financial Reporting: Same Numbers, Better Decisions

A business I worked with sold through several channels, but their financial reports lumped all of them together, so it was hard to tell which channels were profitable.I redesigned their reporting to show revenue, expenses, and margins for each sales channel without creating a maze of separate accounts. With that breakdown, they could see which channels were worth more of their time and money and make pricing and marketing decisions based on real numbers.

Process Automation: 10+ Hours Down to Under One

One client had five related entities, and recording the transactions between them took more than 10 hours of repetitive manual work.I designed an automated Excel-to-QuickBooks workflow, and now the same process takes 30 to 60 minutes. That freed up most of that time for other work, and with less manual entry, there was less room for errors to slip in.

Risk Assessment & AI Tool Design: Making Sense of a Regulatory Minefield

A company that regularly hired independent contractors didn’t have a consistent way to check whether any of those workers might be misclassified.I built an AI-powered tool that reviews each worker arrangement against federal and state classification standards and produces a branded report with jurisdiction-specific findings and recommended next steps. That gave them a repeatable way to review contractor arrangements and spot potential issues early, before they could turn into back taxes or penalties.

Operations & Process Design: Better Processes, Less Friction

When I looked at how one business handled employee onboarding and offboarding, the workflows were clunky, included steps that weren’t needed, and didn’t make full use of the software they already had.I redesigned both processes around their existing tools and added automation, which cut down on admin work and made things smoother for employees and managers.A consistent process also made it less likely that important steps would get missed, like removing someone’s system access when they leave.
