Meet Our Founder Amanda Mahoney, CPA

As CEO & Founder of Mahoney CPA, no two days are ever the same! My role involves working with small business clients to help them with their bookkeeping, budgeting, cash flow projections, ad hoc analyses, and process improvement. My favorite part of my job is getting to know my clients and understanding their goals and needs, even if they’re not fully aware of them. Cleaning up clients’ books is like solving a puzzle for me – I love seeing the end result.

Before founding Mahoney CPA five years ago, I worked at several public accounting firms and had a background in supply chain management. I’m committed to ongoing learning, taking 40 hours of Continuing Professional Education (CPE) annually for my license. I also stay updated by listening to podcasts, reading accounting articles, and researching new technology.

Clients appreciate that they can relax knowing the financial side of their business is well taken care of. At Mahoney CPA, we stay on top of the latest regulations, laws, and ongoing education to provide the best possible experience for our clients.

When I’m not in the office? I love learning languages and traveling! And of course, anytime I am surrounded by my family, it’s a happy day!
